Creating art isn’t just a desire for me, it is a calling from within – a way to have a voice and express myself without the need for words.

Painting abstractly feels like rebelling against the perfectionism that consumed me during years of studying science and working as an editor. The freedom of creating new shapes, tearing paper, mixing colors, scraping, sanding, and painting over again makes me feel alive and present. The process is scientific, a constant flow of experimental risks, and subtle adjustments, yet the results are often better the more I stray from a set formula.

When I am regularly creating art, I find myself looking at my environment in a new light, noticing details, shapes, and colors with the lingering curiosity that I had as a child. I hope that my art might spark curiosity in you as well, and even bring an awareness of something within yourself that you don’t want to be silent or forgotten, the way it has awoken something in me.
